Abbi Tatton:

Rumor has it that Abbi Tatton, CNN internet reporter for the Situation Room, has decided to leave the network she has served for nearly ten 10 years.

Abbi Tatton based in Washington DC reports on the latest internet news and is one of the first internet reporters in mainstream TV news, according to Wikipedia.

Abbi Tatton joined CNN in 2000. "Abbi Tatton has worked as a producer on shows including Inside Politics, Crossfire and On the Story," CNN states on its website.

TVnewser reported early on Jan 3 that CNN confirmed Tatton's leaving the network.

Her last appearance on the TV network is to be made on January 9th 2010, Wikipedia says. But some websites reported her departure was on Jan 4th.

A CNN spokesperson was quoted as saying "Abbi is a Situation Room original and has been a wonderful colleague at CNN — both on and off the air — for nearly a decade. We're sorry Abbi has decided to leave the network but we're thrilled she has other opportunities. We truly wish her all the best."
