Pete Carroll Seahawks

Pete Carroll Seahawks:

According to Los Angeles Times, Pete Carroll is on the verge to reach an agreement with the Seattle Seahawks. The highly successful Southern California Football coach has been offered the job of coach as well as president by the USC accompanied with a 5 year’s contract of $35 million dollars i.e. $7 million per year.

According to the sources who are not authorized to speak on Carroll claims that this week, CEO Tod Leiweke met with the coach in Los Angeles. Earlier on Friday, Seattle announced about the coach Jim Mora that he had been fired by the management. Besides Mora they have also fired, Tim Ruskell, the team president and general manager.

Carroll has not commented on this issue so far. He is among the highly successful coach in school history who has honor to lead his teams in seven major bowl games and 2 national championships. He has an interesting and sparkling history in NFL as he is the coach who was being fired by New York Jets and the New England Patriots after one and three seasons respectively and now today, he is being offered for jobs.

Jim Mora, who is been fired by the management had three years and $12 millions remaining on his contract.

And if Carroll does not make any agreement then Mike Riley, Jeff Fisher and Jack Dell Rio will be the next possible option for University of Southern California.
