Rampage Jackson Retiring

In an exclusive interview with MMA Bay - the only one he has given since his announced retirement - Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson revealed how Rashad's antics on The Ultimate Fighter were all show for the cameras and his comments regarding Jackson's retirement have angered the former champion. “He’s probably happy as hell that I took this movie instead of whoopin’ his ass and he’s trying to play it up like he’s not. That’s all he is, he’s all talk. I did a show with the guy for six weeks, I know what he is. He’s all talk, it’s all show. If there wasn’t cameras or stuff around or nobody to grab his ass he wouldn’t do half the things that he did.” Rashad, Rampage's opposing coach on the show, stated that he would 'like to punch him in the face for free' and the feud between the two has been escalating since Evans got in cage for a face-off following Rampage's win over team-mate Keith Jardine. “Rashad’s just real cocky and he wants to talk about punching me in the face for free? I would love to see that, I would love to see that. Wait till you guys see “The Ultimate Fighter” show, wait for all the episodes to come out and all the stuff that Rashad talks. We all know, everybody knows, if I fought Rashad how he would do… He would run around and play with his nipples like he does everybody else. The boy don’t wanna to fight me, he don’t wanna see me. He knows that but he’s got a big mouth, he’s real cocky and he’s writing cheques that his ass can’t cash!” After Rampage's assertion there would be some "black on black crime" when the pair met in the cage, the back and forth verbal battles between the pair reached a crescendo as they filmed the reality show. It was set to climax when they got it on in the cage but Jackson's exit from the fighting arena forced the bout to be cancelled. Despite his acting commitments, Rampage asserted that he will still love to get it on with the Greg Jackson trained fighter. “Now he’s talking all hard, like he’s gonna hit me in the face? All he’s doing is really pissing me off more and more. I will go to Rashad’s house, knock on his door, drag his ugly ass out into the yard, let him play with his nipples first and knock him the f**k out.” It is a shame that fans may never get to see the bout due to Rampage's retirement but, should he ever be tempted back into the Octagon in the future, the bad blood would make it a 'must see'.
