Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up” is an episode from the ‘Twilight Zone Series’. The episode starts with a narrator telling that finding a Martian in a restaurant is akin to the task of finding a needle in haystack.

The episode starts with two police officers investigating a crash in heavy snowfall. The older one radios headquarter about his suspicion that the object that has crashed is a UFO. There are strange footprints on the earth. The only way to locate the Martian is to follow the footsteps.

The footprints lead to a restaurant. As the officers enter the restaurant, there seems nothing unusual about the surroundings. The passengers from a Boston bound bus are waiting to hear the news that the bridge ahead is safe to cross. Meanwhile the word spreads that a Martian is on loose.

The answer to the question “Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up?” is No! Everybody starts suspecting each other. However as the bus readies to depart all the passengers take the bus.

After a while a person appears in the restaurant and breaks the news that the bus has fallen down from
the bridge. The strange thing about the passenger is that he is not only unhurt his clothes are not even wet.

Strangely he doesn’t even know the meaning of wet. As he starts stirring the coffee, a third arm does the job and he informs that he is the Martian – - Only to learn that the man in front has a third eye hidden beneath th hat and he is from Venice.
