Orlando Jordan

Orlando Jordan:

You can call it a wrestling coup of sorts!

As per reports, former WWE slugger Orlando Jordan has become the latest to jump into the TNA bandwagon.

It is further learned that Jordan has already committed to a lucrative TNA contract and will make his maiden appearance in the widely popular wrestling circuit in a special Live Impact broadcast on Monday.

This revelation regarding his switch to TNA was made by Jordan himself in the course of an interview with the ‘Pope’ Di Angelo Dinero, when he suddenly broke off from his usual train of conversation to announce that super -slugger Hogan had invited him to the building.

With Jordan now joining the long line of ace –sluggers in the TNA roster, a series of dream, mouthwatering duels with some of the big names in the TNA could well in the offing for the wrestling faithfuls all over.

This latest call from Jordan comes after he was fired by the WWE in 2006 and was looking for a new challenge.

For the benefit of the uninitiated, here’s a brief look back to the long and illustrious career of this well known wrestler.

Orlando Jordan is an American professional wrestler who was born on July 10, 1971. Jordan is best known for working for his tenure in World Wrestling Entertainment on its Smack Down brand. In WWE, Jordan is a onetime United States Champion.

Jordan made his WWE TV debut on the May 31, 2003 episode of Velocity defeating Jamie Noble. On June 26, 2003, Jordan made his first Smack Down! appearance as a fan favorite at Madison Square Garden against then rival John Cena.

Although he did not win the match, he was impressive enough that when Cena attacked Jordan after the match was over, The Undertaker, with whom Cena was feuding, came to the ring and helped Jordan to his feet.

So here’s wishing Jordan a heady success in the TNA circuit!
