Kathy Griffin, Anderson Cooper New Year: Kathy Griffin, the notorious comedian dropped the F-word on the show as she co-hosted a live New Year’s Eve special with CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

She let loose the four-letter word into a discussion about “balloon boy” Falcon Heene as she fumbled his first name.

Cooper was visibly uncomfortable as he responded to the curse by scolding Griffin: “You’re terrible.”

Griffin and Cooper talked about the biggest scandals of the year on the show. The red headed comedian starred in a Bravo reality series until 2008, and was featured as a red-carpet commenter for E!’s awards-show coverage.
