Alton Brown:

Host Alton Brown will run the Iron Chef duel that pits White House Chef Cristeta Comerford and Bobby Flay against Emeril Lagasse and Mario Batali. The ingredients for this TV special were grown n the grounds of the White House in Washington D.C.

All four chefs are at the top of the food world. Lagasse is a successful restaurant owner and also famous for his "BAM" commercials on television. Comerford is the presonal White House chef for the Obamas.

"Mario Batali Simple Italian Food, The Babbo Cookbook" is one of several books from the famous chef. And Bobby Flay has several top restaurants in the U.S.A.

The duel was setup to include only ingredients found in the White House garden as part of a challenge by First Lady Michelle Obama.
