Santa Norad Tracker 2009

Santa Norad Tracker 2009:

The Santa Tracker 2009 has Santa close! Santa Tracker puts Santa Claus now in PUERTO RICO, EN VIVO! Santa was just in Canada but now he’s about to hit the east coast, currently in Puerto Rico, next stop Barbados.

Santa is now moving so fast. Well, Santa has to. He has so many houses to visit in so little time. But Santa can do it. Santa is finished delivering gifts to all the girls and boys in Europe. Now he’s starting Canada, Central and South America, and next stop - the EAST COAST!

How many people does it take to track Santa with Norad?

“One Department of Defense (DOD) Civilian from the NORAD Public Affairs staff is assigned to manage the program. In addition, almost 1,250 Canadian and American uniformed personnel – Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marines, as well as DOD civilian and their families and friends – volunteer their time on Christmas Eve to answer the thousands of phone calls and emails that flood in from around the world.”

What are some stats on Santa’s sleigh?

“NORAD can confirm that Santa’s sleigh is a versatile, all weather, multi-purpose, vertical short-take-off and landing vehicle. It is capable of traveling vast distances without refueling and is deployed, as far as we know, only on Christmas Eve (and briefly for a test flight about a month before Christmas).”

And mostly important - does Santa visit everyone?

“Indeed! Santa visits all homes where children who believe in him live.”
