Last night saw the finale of “The Sing Off”, and the winners were announced to be vocal group, Nota.
The judges for the finale included such stars as Nicole Scherzinger of The Pussy Cat Dolls, Ben Folds a singer pianist, and Boys II Men’s,  Shawn Stockman. Where a Capella groups competed against one another, to win the NBC singing competition.

Not only do the winners get a chance to become a Sony Music recording artist, they also win $100,000.
Nota from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Voices of Lee, a co-ed group from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee and Beelzebub’s a group from Tufts University near Boston Massachus were the final three groups singing for the prize.

Viewers were also treated to stars performing with contestants through the night , with Smokey Robinson, Bobby McFerrin and even Ben Folds taking to the stage, for a rendition of Wars 1975 hit “Why Can’t We Be Friends” with Nota and Beelzebub’s.

A very seductive version of “You Don’t Own Me” a hit from 1964 by Lesley Gore was performed by Scherzinger along with Beelzebub’s.

There was also a performance by Boys II Men with a medley of hits including “End of the Road.”
Show host Nick Lachey called his involvement in the competition an “immeasurable honor” after announcing Nota the winners.
