The construction itself isn’t really news. The project has been in the works for years and there are actually other underwater hotels, but it seems when the UAB put its down they just set standards for opulence. Called the Hydropolis Undersea Resort and set in the Arabian Gulf, it’s going to be about 60 feet underwater, where they are going to fit 220 suites (no economy under the sea people).
This thing must be a beast to maintain any kind of environmental standards. One of our contributors here at BSC is a diving enthusiasts–I wonder if we will get a special on location BSC (black-ops) report.
