The Daily Show last night featured some reduction in the bookstore. The author and comedian John Hodgman Jon Stewart asked, "Do you know the book was available here in what was called a" bookstore? "

He continued a few words of choice for the bookstore trade:

"The employee chooses? Thank chubby neck beard counter guy for clueing me to Philip K Dick AGAIN."

And as for the author's testimony:

"The reality is that there's nothing more depressing than to see some pasty stop in the author's bare his soul to a half-filled a number of folding chairs. Believe me, I know."
