Tiger Woods scandal

Tiger Woods scandal:

The Tiger Woods scandal is all over the news. From Rachel Uchitel's canceled press conference to sordid details of Jaimee Grubbs' account of the alleged Tiger Woods affairs to Jesper Parnevik speaking out about Tiger - Tiger's everywhere. One of the hottest items of discussion surrounding the Tiger Woods scandal are details about Elin Woods' pre-nup agreement.

Elin Woods originally would recieve $20 million after 10 years of marriage if she and Tiger Woods split up. They've only been married 5 years and it appears as if Tiger has slept with several night club employees from Las Vegas to New York. Elin Woods is not a happy camper. Needless to say, Tiger Woods and his wife are undergoing some serious couples' therapy.

According to Yahoo Sports, Elin Woods received an immediate $5 million payout from Tiger plus approximately $55 million added to her $20 million pre-nup agreement. The length of time the couple must be married has allegedly been shortened.

Sounds like a great deal, right? The deal is great for Tiger Woods, too. In order to qualify for the pre-nup, Elin Woods must act like nothing happened and show up with Woods to social events. In addition, she has to sign a non-disclosure agreement preventing her from ever "telling her story."

If Tiger Woods and Elin Woods ever split up, that means there will be no teary Oprah interview, no best-selling memoir, no guest appearances at self-help seminars. The payout Elin Woods will get for the marriage will surpass any gains she could have gotten elsewhere.
