His basic discipline is microbiology but he switched to comic writing and screen writing when he was dissatisfied with his income from the field of microbiology. He saw many PhDs earning around $30,000 per year and he even earned less. As a result he decided to switch his field. As far as his writing is concerned, Underworld was his first writing adventure. He introduced a fresh approach and wrote the genuine screenplay. He also took part in the movie as “Raze”. He has intention to write more stuff on underworld in a comic style. Because of his scientific background of microbiology, he has introduced many scientific elements in his stories. which usually causes stress and tension. He added the scientific touch to the world of vampires by linking vampirism and lycanthropy with viral mutagen. This was a new experiment because previously such characters were linked with mysticism.

He told about his interest in his early childhood that he was more interested in pictures rather than written material. He told that he developed interest in science because his parents encouraged him towards science.
