Gilly SNL

Gilly SNL:

So I was being super-productive this evening (watching television, eating dinner and checking email at the same time) when I caught the Gilly SNL sketch running as part of the SNL holiday special. (Other skits included from the past shows: Akroyd's toy salesman, Baldwin's "Schweddy Balls," the possibly incendiary "Christmas for the Jews," etc.)

At any rate, I was tangentially reminded of a press release I received championing the Houston Boychoir's 47th Annual Winter Concert. The concert will take place this Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church (5300 Main) across from the Museum of Fine Arts. Here's a bit from the release:

"The concert will feature music by Mozart, Praetorius and Viadana and Bernstein.

All three of the Houston Boychoir ensembles will perform: the Preparatory Choir, the Chamber Choir and the Men of the Houston Boychoir. Feed your holiday spirit with a sing-a-long of traditional holiday carols. The concert is free and will delight audiences of all ages."
