News - Breaking News Wednesday, Jun. 10, 2009 So You Think You Can Dance Season 5: Top 20 perform tonight

The Top 20 take the stage in pairs on tonight's two-hour episode of "So You Think You Can Dance." It airs 8 p.m. on Fox.

Here's a recap of the contenders:

Randi Evans, 23 (Orem, Utah):
Attends Utah Valley University, performed at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games

Karla Garcia, 23 (Oxon Hill, Md.):
New York University graduate, performed on Broadway in “Hot Feet,” danced in the ensemble of the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular” and went on to tour with “Wicked"

Caitlin Kinney, 21 (Annapolis, Md.):
Graduated from the Baltimore School for the Arts, danced at North Carolina Dance Theatre as an apprentice

Asuka Kondoh, 25 (San Francisco):
Graduate of University of California, Irvine, worked as a Latin Ballroom instructor for the last two years

Janette Manrara, 25 (Miami, Fla.):
Attends Florida State University, started formal dance training at 19

Jeanine Mason, 18 (Miami, Fla.):
Plans to attend the University of California, Los Angeles in the fall. She began her dance training in Ballet and Lyrical and then studied Jazz, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, Modern and Contemporary.

Kayla Radomski, 18 (Aurora, Colo.):
Has been dancing most of her life, enjoys acting and singing

Melissa Sandvig, 29 (Los Alamitos, Calif.):
Danced with the Milwaukee Ballet Company, LA Opera, Long Beach Ballet and Helios Dance Theater

Paris Torres, 19 (Issaquah, Wash.):
Was a Miss Washington Teen pageant winner, and a Seattle Storm and Seattle Sonic Jr. dancer

Ashley Valerio, 22 (Mesa, Ariz.):
Has been dancing most of her life, graduate of Mountain View High School

Kupono Aweau, 23 (Honolulu, Hawaii):
Graduated from the Kamehameha Schools, has been dancing since he was 16

Tony Bellissimo, 20 (Buffalo, N.Y.):
Has been dancing for most of his life, graduate of Frontier High School, where he played on soccer, football and lacrosse teams

Brandon Bryant, 19 (Miami, Fla.):
Attends Miami Dade College, performed for Madonna at her daughter's birthday party

Phillip Chbeeb, 20 (Houston):
No formal training, attends Loyola Marymount University. At 16, he founded the Marvelous Motion Studio in Houston

Jason Glover, 21 (Fresno, Calif.):
Began dancing at 12, danced on stage with Gregory Hines

Vitolio Jeune, 26 (Pétionville, Haiti):
Began dancing at 18, graduated from Florida’s New World School of the Arts

Max Kapitannikov, 26 (Moscow, Russia):
Comes from a dancing family, attended the Manhattan Comprehensive High School

Evan Kasprzak, 21 (West Bloomfield, Mich.):
Attends Illinois Wesleyan University, performed in a Gregory Hines tribute

Ade Obayomi, 20 (Chandler, Ariz.):
Attends Chapman University, performed at Radio City Music Hall

Jonathan Platero, 21 (Sanford, Fla.):
Was a World Salsa finalist in 2006-2007, performed as a dancer and acrobat in “High School Musical”
